My very first full Black and White Blog Post. I hadn’t intended that, but these images as a collection speak strength to me in Black and White.
So lets meet The Cairns Family. Dad – Jamie, Mum- Kaz, Uncle Duncan, Indie, Ollie and Alex.
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The sun was bright bright bright and the kids were in the comfort of their own backyard.
I had so much fun running round after Ollie and Alex and even Indie got in on the fun after a while.
Lets start with ‘The Line Up’.
Meet the good looking kids of this family. Indie (can’t really call her a kid though), Ollie and Alex.
I was only allowed to take ONE photo of Indie. I clicked the shutter twice… andddd was threatened with not being paid. hehe. Whoops, slipped. :) Either way Indie… you look totally gorgeous.
At 5 years old, Ollie is a sweet wee man. Full of energy and big smiles.
And young Alex. 4 years old, he’s quite the socialite… I didn’t get to see a lot of that… but it was evident it was there. I could of hung out with these kids all day long!
I love how children can dictate to me. ‘Take some pictures of us doing a running race and I’ll smile some more’. Good deal guys. I’ll take it!
Uncle Duncan seems to be quite the favourite with the boys.
And the two responsible for the gorgeous crowd. Kaz and Jamie.
About now something slightly inappropriate was said… henceforth…reaction!
This. This is my FAVOURITE shot of this kind that I honestly think I’ve ever taken. I love every element of the interaction between big sister and little brother.
I loved Indie’s interactions with the boys in general. She’s a pretty great big sister.
See what I mean?…
A great way to end the shoot. Tongues out and funny faces.
Thanks for a great Sunday afternoon Cairns Family. I can’t wait to show you the rest of your images. :)
