The Kilfoil Family.
They’ve had faith in me and my work from the get go. I met this family more than 2 years ago back when Sophie was a wee 8 month year old. Back when you couldn’t get more than a scowl out of young Jack. Back when now, heavily pregnant Carrie-Anne was blonde… and um… well Ryan, you just look the same. Maybe your hair grew a little bit?
So 2 years on, we headed back to Yatton Park for Take 2.
Sophie kicked things off with her adorable shrug and the “I’m a princess” grin. Hmmmm, are you fooling me little Miss Sophie? hehe.
I got a touch excited photographing a girl. I don’t know if boys are out weighing the girls at the moment in population. Or I’m just constantly surrounded by boys. But of the Tauranga shoots, I had 14 kids. 10 boys and 4 girls. Sophie was one of my girls. Look how cuteeeee she is!
Jack. Strong name. Calm temperament. Cool dude. Who knew “Don’t smile” would get such a wicked smile out of you.
Sophie and Jack are a cool brother/sister team. But they get to welcome a new sibling on board very very soon. Jack wants a brother. Sophie wants a sister. Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out…

Ryan is so sweet with Carrie-Anne. They make such an awesome couple and evidently a gorgeous family!
After we finished up with the family shots, Carrie-Anne and I stuck around Yatton Park to capture some maternity images. I can’t wait to share them in a later post.
Until then, thanks so much guys for a great afternoon and being apart of my Tauranga journey. You guys seriously rock!
