Long distance is hard. I think that’s well known fact. I’ve never had to do it myself. And I’m grateful for that. But it makes me think how amazing some people are to be able to live long distance and keep a relationship going to the point of marriage. Laura and Jimmy have lived a good portion of their relationship in different cities as Laura studies to be a Doctor at Otago University. But you’d never think they’ve been apart.
Jimmy works with bikes a lot. It’s quite a passion. A bike cycled passed on the road near by at one stage, and his ears perked up to listen for what type of bike. I love it when people love something like that. I also love it when people come with ideas for their shoot. This shot was Jimmy’s idea. Wickedddd!!!
A June engagement has been on the calendar for months for these two. June can bring anything. But to bring a dusting of snow to coat the forest floor and a beautifully golden sunset to accompany this awesome couple?!?!! Nothing short of magical.
You are a beauty Laura!
I love this. LOTS.
This is the part where your heart skips a beat…
Laura and Jimmy, thank you for a fantastic winters afternoon. Thank you for allowing Doug and I to have a bit of fun with off camera flash. You guys are wonderful and we are SO looking forward to your November wedding! Happy planning until then! :o) xx
