I lay in bed. It’s 5am. The rain has it’s tap shoes on as it dances ever so loudly all over the roof. This is what I’ll be shooting in in a few of hours time… better get my ideas together.
4 Hours later. Oh hello blue skies and puffy white clouds… Did I imagine the rain? Guess I’ll save those ideas for a ‘rainy day’ (oh yes I did!) … Because Megan and Craig’s engagement session just a couple of days before they wed, is now a glorious morning to hang out at the beach.
We started at the Old Brick Mill Cafe in Waikuku.
I’ve had a lot of ’10 year couples’ as of late. And Megan and Craig are another. They have been smitten with each for almost a decade. Having known each other through school, they revealed their feelings right at that crucial point of high school … the 6th form formal. And they’ve been inseparable ever since.
While Megan has a class of young ones in New Plymouth where she works as a pre school teacher. This is face that kids will definitly love. And her personality goes with it too. Kind, caring and very thoughtful.
It may not have rained, but I had to attempt getting them a bit wet somehow! I think they got away lucky though… they walked away quite intact and still quite dry! I had to be nice… they still had to drive back to Waimate where all the wedding plans were being finished off as Saturday marks the big day!
