Focusing on the Miracles of Life {Brock}
The Maskill Family. Cole-Dad, Amanda- Mum, Nova- Big Sister, Brock- New addition.
With the devastation in the world, let us not forget the little miracles that run along side it. A lot of people died tragically in the last couple of weeks in Christchurch and they will never be forgotten, but what the media never focuses on is the births. The births in Christchurch over the earthquake week, almost matched those lost.
Little Brock is not quite a… quake baby as he started labour for his Mum just before the earthquake hit and decided to chill out for a couple more days for things to calm down before making his grand entry into the world on February 24th.
Amanda and Cole can’t live in their home at the moment but they couldn’t care less with this bundle of joy to focus on. Makes you realise the importance in life.
Welcome to the chaos Brock!
I love how his eyes glisten with innocence.
This has to be a favourite of mine. The gentle comfort of both his Mother’s hands and his own in his mouth. Pudgy gorgeousness.
I love Dad’s strong hands holding his only son.
Nova loved getting into the photos, until she didn’t and she said to me “Are we doneeee yet? I’m bored!” lol
The first full family photo. I love how Nova is looking at her Dad with admiration.
Nova didn’t like Brock crying. It upset her a bit, but with a finger in Brock’s mouth I caught such a beautiful brother/sister photo.
Cuddles from Dad, after weeing on Mum, then on Grandma…
…And then Brock pooed all over Daddy!
…And to the right you’ll see Cole giving his son a ‘you cheeky little monkey’ smile!
I’m so ecstatic to see such a happy family here with all the cruddyness around us at the moment. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon Maskill Family. And enjoy every second with your new bundle of joy.
