I liked Anna and Andy from the moment I first met them. Andy was this laid back, down to earth guy with a very sweet edge to him. Anna was blonde, bubbly and 100% beautiful. “Book me, book me, book me” I whispered to myself.
Well.. they booked me (YAY!) .. and whatta ya know… Andy is still completely down to earth and Anna is still bubbly and beautiful and we had the most fun getting to know each other a lot more during their engagement shoot.
I hadn’t been out Governors Bay way in a while. We went past a rustic dream. I got excited – then Anna was getting really excited…. so we jumped the fence! (I’M KIDDING) … I only do that sometimes! lol. But gaining permission gave us more than we could have hoped for. A little rustic shack (that Anna or myself wouldn’t have hesitated in putting a wee deposit down for) , a big rustic shed, horses – who were scaring me a little (I know what a woss, but I hear those bad boys have a mean kick on them!). Add in devine light and a gorgeous couple to all this awesomeness and we’re in heaven!
Meet the lovely Anna and Andy…
I’ve been giving Andy a little flack for his proposal… but not in a bad way.. in a geniune, I actually LOVE it way! … It’s so unique. He may become a little bashful for me telling it… but it’s just so cute I have to! ….
One evening Anna was working an evening shift at the hospital where she is a nurse. She came home to a note indicating she should have a look at the laptop. She found a crossword, designed by Andy. Andy at this point was no where to be seen. She started filling it in… And as “Will you marry me” started forming… she started getting excited. Still… Andy was nowhere to be seen. She’d just been proposed to… where the heck is Andy? …
Anna found Andy snoozing on the bed waiting for her to get home. I know guys tend to get the nervous sweats on before they propose… and the great thing was… Andy was perfectly relaxed through all his proposal! hehe … Not many people can say they missed their own proposal… And now it’s a super cute story they’ll be able to tell for the rest of their lives.
Either way, it was a great success and he got a big fat YES!
From beginning to end. There was so much love and fun to be had. I was in so much awe of the beauty to be captured in every respect.
Anna and Andy… I sooo can’t wait for your wedding day! Bring on March! And all the best for all the plans leading up to it! :)
