Caitlin & Brenton {Married} Part 1
They worked together. Caitlin had just made the move from Tauranga to Melbourne. Australian born Brenton took one look at her and knew she was worth pursuing. The first attempt failed. But the 2nd attempt was so much more cunning, and I mean cunning in quite the romantic way!
There was a work do to be. An over night work do that technically everyone was paying for themselves. Caitlin didn’t want to go but Brenton couldn’t have that! So he may have fabricated the truth a bit and convinced Caitlin that it was all free and everything was paid for by the company… meanwhile he actually paid for everything for Caitlin himself. His secret agent moves got Caitlin on the work do road trip and they spent the entire way there chewing each others ears off as if they’d been friends for years. Yip, true love can come that easy!
This wedding was ultra special for me. It was a close family affair, a family I love to absolute pieces. Set in the property of the family home, a place my friends grew up, and the place I’ve been visiting for years. We got to spend the night with the bride to be and we were there helping with all that last minute prep during the wedding morning where normally I’d probably be lying in bed.
Starbucks. No day is complete without it when it comes to these guys.
These kids are mine!!… Well… no not really!! But I wish they were! haha Caitlin’s niece and nephews are full of bubbly energy! They’ve been quite the regular on the blog too over the past few years!
Over at 301 Ohauti Road. The family home of the McMurtie’s is looking devine. Tony and Anne have spent the last 6 months transforming their back yard into the beautiful place it is today. All for their youngest daughter to marry her love. The hard work paid off, the rain stayed away and a magical day was to be had.
The coolest cat in town. Brent was far from nervous. He took every moment in his stride and enjoyed every second of it!
Back at the girls station… I’m handling the most devine dress.
Tall enough to be bride!!! Heck yeah!
Jokes always fly out of Tony’s mouth first… but who can deny he was pretty taken back by his daughters beauty upon first sighting!
Natural beauty from the outside right to the core of her beautiful heart!
Back at The McMurtires, I’m wondering whether Lukey will realise their is a lower branch tehehe.
Uncle Brenton and Lukey are good mates. Thomas steals the show while waiting for Aunty Bob (Caitlin) to arrive.
There was nothing but serenity in the air.
And in Brenton’s words.. it was the easiest thing in the world watching his bride walk towards him!
Upon being introduced as Man and Wife… Cait dives into her Mum’s arms for the first hug.
It doesn’t end here… there may or may not be a boat in Part 2… so click on the photo below to follow the rest of this gorgeous story.
