I love a man who can be a right romantic with his girl. And Matt had already done his job perfectly well when setting up a romantic picnic with all of Pip’s favourite things on their deck. She was already a happy girl with tears in her eyes. Then Matt said “Well I have a question that’s probably going to make you cry even more soon…”. And then the tears really did flow!
The lovely Pip, Pippa, Pippy (just not Phillipa I’ve been told ;-) ) and her Matt are simply delightful. They are the best of friends and it’s evident, and that’s not suprising as they were friends for a looong time first before it clicked – ‘Hmmm, maybe we belong together’!! And that was that… it’s been just the two of them ever since. They reside in Hamilton, both working for Fonterra… and their wedding is down here in the beautiful Akaroa in February!
I love to make my couples so comfortable, that they almost refuse to move because it’s just so darn perfect. Laying in the grass, basking in the sunshine on a Sunday afternoon! …. Peeerfect! I almost joined them, but I hear three’s a crowd!
One among MANY things that Matt loves about Pip… There isn’t anything she won’t try once! She’s always up for anything and does it with a huge smile on her face!! … I can totally see that!
There is just something amazing about Dandelions! … Even my nephew this last week had the best time covering Aunty Heather with every single Dandelion he could find in the garden! … To him it was just plain funny! … To me… I felt kinda magical. Little seeds of fluffy magic! :)
Blossom tree swinging fun!
My total fave! Pip just looks divinely happy! And that’s because.. SHE IS!! .. Yay! :)
Pip and Matt, I had so much fun with you guys! Thanks for a beautiful afternoon amongst the springtime goodness! … I’m soooo looking forward to your big day in February!
Alll the best until then,
