Far out… it feels like forever since I’ve blogged. This is in fact the longest period I’ve gone without blogging since starting up 6 years ago. What a strange feeling. I am slicing back on blogging now anyway, but there will still be plenty of goodness shared over time. I have soooooo much to share. Lol. I have loads of beautiful bumps to share, beautiful couples… and I’m still holding myself to it… A blog about our trip to Italy last August/September. Blogging will always be something I do, no matter how huge or little I share. … So let’s get back on the wagon…
First blog post back on the wagon is an insanely gorgeous engagement shoot from the end of April when the Autumn leaves were at their best! The light was soooo gentle (one of my favourite kinds – it brings out the colours sooo much more), the Botanics were so firey and kind… and then there was Rachel and Ryan… the whole reason we were the to begin with. Rachel and Ryan are getting married in Queenstown in December, and their wedding day will be AMAZING. I know this this already because THEY are AMAZING!!! These two are such an awesome couple, they laaaughed through the awkwardness of having their photos taken, making the most of an unusual (but fun) situation!… They were completely comfortable by the end of it (no denying it guys!! I could see it, especially when you were quite happy decking Ryan with bunches and bunches of leaves Rachel hehe) …
We had so much fun together and here is the evidence! …
This is one of my favourite trees at the Christchurch Botanics… it’s so gnarly and always has epic light!!
So gorgeous and so cozy in each others arms!
Call me corny, but I love how they just soak each other in! Their love is a goodie! The best kind!!
Every autumn calls for a leaf fight. Rachel wasn’t holding back!! Sooo much fun!!! Dirt in your teeth and leaves in every crevice possible haha!
And booooy is it WORTH IT!!!!
You guys are so beautiful and your wedding day will be incredible!! Enjoy the next few months of planning guys!
Love Heather & Doug :)
