Thank you sun for gracing us with your presence. We had 1 day to do this shoot. Two Robin’s Families. One family from Greymouth and another from Dunedin. They came to Christchurch for a Wedding. And a family portrait! :)
This is how it started…
And lots of them.
And the tears continued for Felix, in spite of being in the safe hands of Nana.
And a tear turned into a smile.
Meet Felix 15 months and his big brother Toby, 3 years old. The Dunedin crew.
And these are their cousins, Indira, 2 & 1/2 and Dakota, 4. The Greymouth crew.
And this is the whole family. Nana Lyn started the crew with Tim, far left and his brother Ben, far right.
To be fair, it wasn’t Nana’s fault Felix was crying (and hopefully not mine..I’m not that scary..am I?).
He just really wanted his Mum…and chocolate. Mum MUST come with chocolate.
Tim and Phaedra <— such a beautiful name, made this beautiful crew. With another, 3 months away from entering this world.
What will it be? Will Tim be outnumbered completely? Hmmm, time will tell. :)
And even if it is another girl… Dakota and Indy are proof that Tim and Phaedra make some darn pretty girls!
Had to be faster than the speed of light to keep up with this one. Gotcha! ;-)
Ben and Carolyn made this crew.
Pretty cute crew too.
There is a secret to these smiles. It’s called… Bribery.
‘What ever you want kids, you can have it. Chocolate at 10 in the morning? Sure, why not!’. I foresee a warped association of photographs with chocolate later in life!
” Go and sit with Felix, Toby” says Mum. ‘Sitting ON Felix is wayyyyyy more fun Mum!’
Can ya breathe Felix?
I was pretty excited by the light today. I have been craving, CRAVINGGGGG light like this for soooo long. Every time I go on a shoot, it’s beautiful in the morning and clouds over by the time the shoot comes. Given clouds makes for easy shooting. But it doesn’t give the yummy halo, heaven affect which I love!
Phaedra happily has her hands full!
‘Are you a little brother for me? …or sister? Just btw, I already have a sister!’
Pregnancy agrees with Phaedra 100%.
I came away smiling today guys. I had a fabulous hour with all of you.
Tears, snot, chocolate and happy chaos. You are all the illustration of what a ‘perfect’ family looks like.
Wishing you all the best for the new addition and family life in general.
I look forward to meeting again. :)
