Tauranga Magic: Family Portraits
What a week, what a week, what a mighty good week.
A 6 Day working holiday. 4 Days of solid shooting, 7 Families, 10 Boys, 4 girls, 1 Pregnancy shoot, 1 Cake Smash. Lots of smiles and quite a few tears too.
Tauranga is one of my favourite places to go. Of course I’m a little bit biased because one of my best friends live there. But…if I could live anywhere else in New Zealand. It would, hands down be Tauranga.
It has been an incredible week. An incredibly tiring week at that. But man have I had fun.
I met a lot of truly fantastic families, who have some truly incredible children.
This is just a teaser blog post as I work through a mountain of cool images.
The week kicked off with the McMurtrie/Balmer Family. Quite the regular in front of my lens.
Meet Max’s happy face…
…And Max’s Uncle Andrew and Andrew’s daughter Kori.
The Balmer Crew got cozy at Mount Maunganui’s Beach. Becca, Nathan, Max and Luke.
Then I met Hadley and his family at Hadley’s grandparents farm in Welcome Bay. Hadley turned 4 this week.
And onto Carrie-Anne’s pregnancy shoot one month away from her due date at Yatton Park.
And her first two children with husband Ryan. Sophie & Jack can’t wait to have a baby brother or sister.
At Papamoa Beach, I met Robin, James and young Beau.
Then I met Saxon and Noah and their parents, who live across from Papamoa Beach. Very sweet location.
Ahhhh, The Deane-Freeman Family. Lauchlan turned 5 this week. Big school boy now.
And the shoot commenced at the Fire Station… what a treat! Malakhai thought so too. But then again, his Dad is a volunteer Fire Fighter. So this won’t be the last.
My last shoot of 7. The Green Family. Brooke is beautiful.
Her parents aren’t to shabby either. Adam and Sarah. And just wait til you see her big sister Camille.
And back to Master Luke. He turns 1 next week. I couldn’t be there for it, so we did a Cake Smash so I could be apart of the birthday fun too. This quite easily has to be the funniest shoot of my life. But more on that later.
Now that the teaser comes to an end… I better get to work on the images. :o)
Tauranga, you ROCK my world!
xoxo
