The Fruit Affair.
Well this is what I called the shoot. Jill’s got her own name for it… that or she misheard. Ok, yes, she definitely misheard!
What’s worse… I didn’t even notice. Well clearly I pay attention to detail, don’t I?! Haha.
Anyway, after missing the snow in Queenstown the week before. And time on my hands to put ideas to practice. I jumped in my car and headed back to Queenstown to do a snowy photo shoot with Jill. Sounds horrible doesn’t it!!! ;-)
Driving in I was slightly freaking out. I wanted to do a snowy ‘fashion’ shoot (I use fashion loosely). So where is all the freaking snow?
Chill out Heather. There was plenty of snow to play with. lol. We just had to go where the sun doesn’t go. Fernhill was that place. Crisis over.
And then the fun began. Fruity fun!
I knew I wanted to do a shoot with Jill. She’s got attitude, she’s got flare. She has personality. She’s her own sexy.
So normally a Fashion shoot is about the clothes right? This is more about showing off what Jill’s got, (hence using the term ‘fashion’ so loosely) because I knew she’d rock it. And look at her.
Everybody loves a Banana Mustache.
New age Snow White. But where are your little men?
Enticing. So enticing.
But no… I don’t want your poisoness apple!
This is how good a friend she is. Lying… in the snow… in a dress!
And I thank her. Because I got what I envisioned.
No Fruit shoot is complete without Cherries!
I found the best tip this week. “Never make eye contact while eating a Banana”. You can’t make what you like of that! :)
Both mine and Jill’s interpretation of the day.
And then it was over.
Thank you Queenstown for the snow.
Thanks Jill for the amazing attitude and willingness.
And who ever found my fruit line on the hill groove that I left… you can thank me later. :)
