I’m really really REALLY excited to share that this will be our last blog post as Heather Ellis Photography… I’m getting a little bit impatient with myself, because I just want everything to swap over NOW! We are both SO EXCITED!!!… Haha, but patience is a virtue, and we are working hard at the moment on the final details before we offically make our re-brand change to become “The Heather & Doug Records”.
New Face, new website, new inspirations and aspirations… same loving people, with even more energy, enthusiasm & passion for life!! …. Staaaaaay tuned and feel free to get excited with us!!!! :) YAY!

Meet the gorgeous Angela and Chris. The dynamite couple that this blog post is dedicated to. Not only is it their wedding day, but only the 6th or 7th day in a row that they’ve spent in New Zealand together for well over a year. These guys have been going strong from two different countries and planning a wedding in the process. Dr Angela has been working in Canada for the past year, while Chris has been her knight in shining armour, doing more than 200 hours of travel over that time to ensure he gets to see his lady! … That is a little bit AWESOME! Isn’t it! :)
We were so excited for this lovely, carefree, yet motivated couple to tie the knot. With a guest list of not much more than 20, set at the beautiful Terrace Downs in Canterbury, with a young enthusiastic support crew cheering them on to bring even more joy to their day. I knew it was going to be fabulous. The weather had a hint of warmth to it in the heart of winter, the energies were high and everything came together perfectly… As perfect as perfect can be!! What more can you ask for! :)
Terrace Downs. What a haven! The scenery is simply divineeee!
While the boys are on the hill looking over that spectacular view, the girls are in the powder room enjoying every second of the day.
I was told about Angela & Chris’ special invitation! … Not only did daughters, Chloe & Sophie address the paper invitations, but they also had the following invitation!!! … Hooow fantastic is that?!
Angela designed her AMAZING wedding shoes at Shoes of Prey. I’m a little bit in love with them!!
From beautiful flower girls, to paige boys. Don’t they look dapper!
Digging these happy socks!! And Chris’ incredible cufflinks with his 2 daughters names and finger printed engraved. They’re made by Petite Prints. Amazing!
Perfect wee feet! LOVE!
Lucy Harvey did an amaaazing job of hair and make up! I love Angela’s hair, it’s simply gorgeous!
Follow me through to Part 2 of this stunning winter wedding day at Terrace Downs… sooooo much more goodness to follow…
