We had the greatest pleasure of meeting two of America’s GREATEST citizens in January. From the first meeting, all we did was chat up a storm. They were fresh off the plane from San Fransisco, here for a whirlwind wonderful 2 and half weeks in beautiful New Zealand… and one of those special days included, ELOPING!
Meet two of our newest friends, Cindy and Mark. A couple who have a true sense for adventure, know the true meaning behind love and never stop smiling regardless of the circumstance. We learned all about the magic of San Fransisco from these two, and they’ve sold it to us as one the very next places we intend on visiting.
On January 15th 2015 at 4pm, we witnessed these two become husband and wife along with JDsmit Productions and celebrant, Julie Lassen.
From here… we had 5 hours of wonderful photo time to play with, several locations (regardless of the moody weather)… And between locations and between all the glorious beauty.. we never.stopped.talking. Here’s the beautiful Cindy & Mark.
They walked down together to the gorgeous wee garden at the bed and breakfast they were staying at, at Dyers Pass House.
If you ever see Doug going crazy with the camera, and you think… “Wasn’t one photo enough?” … He’s creating these gorgeous bokeh panoramic’s. LOVE! I think this one was constructed of about 70 photos.
Delicious, beautiful, gorgeous!!! No… one word wasn’t enough!! ;-)
We left Dyers Pass House to go get a view from the Port Hills. haha Yeaaaaah right… but these lovely Amercian’s did get to hang with some good ol Kiwi sheep! :)
You’re sooo gorgeous Cindy!!
We then exchanged the Port Hills for Rapaki Bay where the faint drizzle lingered in the air enough to cling to our everything. Nobody was bothered though!
This beautiful field was unplanned. We jumped a fence… Well no, we opened a gate… but sometimes you just have to push some boundaries to get the glory! And then apologise later!! ;-) Thank you land owners! :)
Hello beach. We meet again.
Cindy and Mark actually said that this beach is so similar to one very close to them in San Fran, so they had a piece of home on the other side of the world when they got married. How wonderful!
Celebrating the good times!
Cindy and Mark, we loved every single of your beautiful day, we loved catching up with you before hand and we loved having dinner with you the following days… it’s been such a pleasure meeting you both and gaining a couple of new friends! … We so look forward to seeing you both on the other side of the world some day soon! … Bring on a San Fran adventure!
Congratulations to you both again! :)
Lots of Love,
Heather & Doug xoxo
