Courtney & Hamish {Married}
Meet Courtney and Hamish, two seriously down to earth, good, wholesome people. They were married on November 21st at the beautiful Trotts Gardens in Ashburton. But it all started 5 years ago when Hamish saw the beauty in Courtney and decided to capture her attention by uh… leaving a business card on her window screen after seeing her at a get together one night. Smooth moves lead to an extra present under the Christmas tree, post Christmas last year… that could only mean one thing? .. A little box left under the Christmas tree…. it muuust be key chain!! .. That uh, “key chain” fit perfectly on Courtney’s finger after she said a massive YES to his proposal… and here we are a little under a year later at their beautiful wedding day!
Welcome, welcome… We loved every inch of Courtney and Hamish’s day. Beautiful weather, lovely people down to earth people… a beautiful girl marrying the man of her dreams! … Can’t get much better than that really! :)
The beautiful flowers arrive…
It’s exciting knowing that by tradition, you step into your dress with one name… and step out of it by the end of the day with a whole new name. Sometimes it takes a bit of adjusting and sometimes it’s a matter of ‘Finaaally’. Courtney was definitely in the ‘Finally’ camp. She couldn’t waaait to be a George!
Over at Hamish’s station… things are beyoooond chilled. That’s these guys for ya. Chilled as penguins!
Back at Courtney’s the atmosphere was just as chilled as it is at the guys. Everything ran so smoothly and everyone was so relaxed. I’d been so excited for this wedding since the day I met Courtney. I just knew she was going to make an incredibly beautiful bride, not just because she is physically beautiful… but because I just love how sweet, honest and loving her heart is.
It was a beautiful day in Ashburton at the gorgeous Trotts gardens…
Show time.
A beautiful ceremony with lots of laughs and giggles all the way through!
Husband and Wife!!! Hip Hip HOORAY!
There were so many gorgeous kiddies at this wedding. Including Master Hudson here, one of Courtney’s nephews. Building his sugar levels like a gentleman for the following acts…
This went on for 20 minutes. Guess who would have slept well that night?? hehe
Guess what comes next after marriage Uncle Hamish? tehe
Trotts is such a treat to shoot in. Gorgeous gardens are all nature.
The stunning ladies of the day!
And the dashing blokes!
I never realised how funny I was. Maaaarvellous!! :D
Oh boy I love this blue seat… annnnd it perfectly matches the blue theme of the day!! Score!
Divinely beautiful!
Hamish isn’t a huuuuge fan of photos… like a lot of people… but he just totally rocked the socks off of every inch of the day. They were both total rock stars… And it’s always nice to hear that we make something that seems a little daunting… soooo much easier!! .. That’s totally our aim!! :) Photos are FUN!!! So why not HAVE fun! :)
We skipped by The Plains museum for a short while before heading to the museum… quite a few treasures in here.. could have spent a fair few hours having photo mania fun! …
This shot of Doug’s took my breath away when I came across it. I. love. every. single. thing. about. it!
