2015 weddings are upon us. And boy do we have some gooorgeous couples who are marrying the love of their lives this season. Hanna and Tim are one of those couples. It’s a true blessing to witness the magnetic joy between two people on the happiest day of their lives to date. We love seeing the energy and excitement that comes from them right until the very end, regardless how exhausted they might be (wedding days are BIIIG days).
That moment when they put their arms around each others waists at the end of their night, peer into each others eyes with the silliest smiles on their faces and call each other “my husband” and “my wife” with utter glee…. they are the moments we thrive on!
Hanna and Tim chose the beautiful Langdale Vineyard for their wedding. And the 30 degree, blue sky day chose them. And together they chose each other after meeting in their teens on their family holidays. They’re both loving, fun, bouncy and wonderful people! And we are so happy we were able to capture their special day!!
As usual, Doug and I went out separate ways for the first couple of hours of the day. We’ve spoken so often about changing the way we do things, but things always stay the way it is because it works. Doug loves getting to know the guys and I love getting to know the girls in the first section of the day… And I freaking love catching up with the Groomsman later in the day and hearing hooow much they loved hanging out with Doug before the ceremony. My hubby is a pretty likeable guy after all! :)
The brightest blue sky shone today… and the temperature was only rising. Yay Summer! :)
This guy is soooo ready to marry the girl of is dreams!!
Over at Hanna’s, the atmosphere is calm, gentle and warming.
Hanna opted to have her lovely bridesmaid do her make up, and she did a gooorgeous job!
Love these gorgeous bouquets!
It’s an amazing feeling stepping into your dress knowing that *this time*… you’ll actually be walking towards your future husband!! Hanna was a little in love with her dress too and couldn’t wait to wear it all day! And I can see why!
The fellas head out to Langdale Vineyard to greet the guests and try their best not to melt in their 3 piece suits on this 30 degree day!! Whoopsi-daisy for trying them on in the wintertime.
The moment Tim had been waiting for… here comes his Bride…
Their parents happily give their blessings!
The first kiss of the rest of their lives. Mr and Mrs Nikoloff!
His & Hers.
I adoooore how Hanna’s dress falls! Gorgeous!
As is she!
The guys are so much fun! Up for anything!
Even a skip off competition across the bridge. Yeah sorry girls, the guys nailed the skipping this time!
Big kudos to the lovely Andy on the far right. A lovely down to earth guy, who rocks life with just one leg. We can have a judges ruling – but from the looks of things… he jumped the highest!!! … Oh yeaaah!
They were just to easy too take photos of… I didn’t want to stop! …
‘I love you’s’ come in all different forms! :)
The evening light was so lovely outside and we had oooooooodles of time before the first dance… so we rounded up some group photos of the lovely guests!
Doug and I are naturally very different people with different ideas. I love my classic romantic style shots, where as Doug loves to get super Arty. This is the same shot, two different cameras, two different visions, two completely different photos. I looove Doug’s arty abstract take on it!
And the moment I had been waiting for…. Sunset. Gives these two a chance to practice their first dance too! And once again, my take.
Doug’s take. Both gorgeousss!
And these guys just showed their entire guest list how a first dance shooould be done!! Amazing you two!! Amazing!
And now anything and everything goes!! … Just bust a move!
The sun set on a glorious day. With two glorious human beings becoming one.
Hanna and Tim we are so happy for you both, you had such a wonderful day and we were so happy to be the ones to capture all the beautiful moments, all the crazy, funny, bouncy moments and everything in between!
Here’s to your marriage and growing closer with each year that comes!
Can’t wait to show you more,
Heather & Doug :)
