Missed out on Part 1? .. Not to worry.. click right HERE to take you back…
It’s show time.
So much gorgeous emotion. Nothing but happy tears!
Hot days always tend to cause a few enlarged knuckles… But the ring went on eventually lol.
Husband and Wife.
I’m no singer. But I appreciate a good voice when I hear it. Crystel had the most incredible voice and absolute control. And not just your average singing… but Opera! I got a little distracted just watching her in awe, as the bridal party patiently waited for me to take their photo as they signed the register. haha. Amazing amazing stuff Crystel.
With Scottish roots and a life long love for Highland Dancing… having the girls there was an absolute must!
And after a few hugs… Jeana looked around again for her new husband and leeeeaped into his arms. UGH, it just doesn’t get more loving than THIS!
After an amazing display from the dancing girls, we headed up the hills purely for the view!
We then went off to St Andrew’s Collage.
And only the guys (and Doug and I) knew what was happening next… Man they can keep a straight face!
Still taking these photos, Jeana was completely oblivious to the sound of the chopper getting closer and closer…
So I thought I’d better take her a little closer to the action… And still she didn’t think it was for her! ..Until Hamish ran up to her saying “Surprise Honey” (Ok that last bit I only assume, choppers are pretty loud.. I couldnt hear lol.)
The surprise was definitely a success! Jeana was WRAPPED! .. Time to enter the reception with style…
I’d never seen Christchurch Airport from this angle. It’s so teeny tiny! hehe
The reception was held at Russley Golf Course. They dove right into speeches where lots of love and sweet words were thrown around. Nothing but heart was delivered.
The best photos were yet to come! As the last of the sun started to set…
They suddenly got a little nervous about their first dance… so right there in front of two photographers… They practiced.
We caught the first dance at sunset. And it was the best dance ever.
Jeana and Hamish. WOW. What.a.day! … From beginning to end I felt the excitement, love and complete heart that went into every milli second of the day. You’ve got the kind of love where words need not be exchanged, it’s all in a look.
You both are the true definition of ‘Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After’… and I am SOOOOO HAPPY, that we were there to capture it all!
Congratulations to you both! We wish you allllll the love and happiness in the world for your future years to come. And P.S. Thanks for the quick chopper ride! ;-)
Love Heather and Doug xoxo
