I have to keep pinching myself. What an AMAZING season we’ve had so far… A season full of so many beautiful couples and their amazing wedding days. People must think I inject myself with V or something, because each weekend goes by and I’m jumping up and down and from side to side and my enthusiasm is overflowing with joy for the couple and their wedding day. Well I can assure you, I do drink V… however I do NOT inject it! haha. This energy and enthusiasm simply comes from the fact that WE.LOVE.OUR.COUPLES. And it is a pure joy to be apart of such occasions, doing what we love!
I told Kate and Hayden’s story a few months back when I got to know them throughout their engagement session. Their engagement was so much fun! … but rest assured… their wedding day was obviously SOOOO much better. Every choice made and every detail provided was split down the middle of being perfectly Hayden and so perfectly Kate. My favouite favourite detail throughout the day though, was Kate’s veil. I hadn’t come across one like this yet. And combined with her dress and her gorgeous ‘spanish’ looks. She really truly did look like a Spanish Goddess. …Oh you lucky man, Hayden!!!
Cossars Wineshed doesn’t cease to amaze us with it’s rustic glory and yet again, we were treated to a stunner of a March day.
I love going to homes where the Bride has grown up. A place with so many memories and a lot of nostalgia. And what was even more perfect on this day… Hayden had found Kate’s Grandfathers car with a little bit of research… and it was there to take her to her ceremony!
Kate was at the talented hand of Chrystal O’Brien for her make up.
People often find me in the dirtiest, worst place of their garden (according to the home owner who so delicately keeps the lawns manicured) … and they wonder what on eaaaarth I’m doing in the dirt! … Well now you have your answer! What can I say, I love a rustic touch! haha.
It only gets better from here… Follow me through to Part 2 of Kate and Hayden’s gorgeous wedding day…
