Missed out on Part 1? … Follow me back to the beginning of this chilly, but completely gorgeous wedding day!
Working with Jono Smit, is pretty much the most fun EVER! He was our wee model as we set up our family photos! He’s a wee bit cheeky! Since we were taking a picture of him, he was going to take a video of us!! … GULP!
Oh that veil! … I find it so funny, I never ever wanted a veil when I got married. And I didn’t… but boy do I gush over a good veil! Most brides hear this over the day, I’m a bit of a broken record! … But that just means it’s true!! And this veil was Kathryn’s Mum’s veil! How special is that!
We were heading into the field where Trents normally have the horses (if they are requested!) …. And by this point, this is where Kat asked where the horses were and cheekily had a giggle when reminding me of how Owen had to save me during their engagement shoot from four SAVAGE horses who were attacking me. (Translation – four horses who came up to me mid shoot and stood looking at me, basically doing absolutely nothing) … Yeaaaaah, me and horses don’t normally go hand in hand for some reason! lol But I do love Kat’s cheeky smile!
As usual the day always goes way too fast, but these guys were more or less begging for the warm toasty reception to come, after the pretty chilly day! … P.S. How do you like their new letter box!! Cool huh!
Within one year, these two ladies have given each other the sweetest MOH speech. Sarah stands today as Kat’s Matron of Honour. And last April, we captured Sarah’s wedding where Kat stood as her Maid of Honour. These two have a beautiful friendship!
Kat and Owen. You two are a seriously beautiful couple with so much love to give. Thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing to capture your incredible day! It may have been cold, but it was warmed by the people who surround you and the love you have for one another! We look forward to showing you more of your special day!
All the best for many happy years together! This is just the beginning! :)
Love, Heather and Doug xoxo
