Kellie & Luke – Married {Part 1}
When I was 12 and going into High School. We were all being quizzed on what we wanted to be when we grew up. I had many answers. I started small. I wanted to be a chef… (to those who know me will laugh their butt off at that). Then I wanted to be a writer. Nope, not very good with words. And this is the pearler… For a very small amount of time, I wanted to be an Orthopedic Surgeon (goodness knows why… I feel faint at the thought of blood and broken bones).
Did I expect to be a Wedding Photographer? Hahaha absolutely not. But when I picked up photography in the digital age, it was split between Travel Photography and Weddings. I do love Travel… but I love people more. Where do you find a lot of people? At weddings! And what is a wedding? An EXTREMELY happy occasion. With hugs and smiles and laughter and bubbles and all that magical stuff that is crammed into a fairytale. And the best part of this fairytale, is every couple has their very own to tell….
This one starts with hot blue shoes and a sexy set of leather pointers.
As I walk into this fairytale… There is a beautiful bride sitting on the other side of this door. Who will sooner rather than later elegantly slip into this dress.
But first she must finish getting ready.
You’ve now met Kellie. The bride in this fairytale.
She has 3 wonderful girls that support this fairytale.
But lets go on over to the the other half of this fairytale…
Meet Luke, this fairytales, Groom.
Like with every fairytale (let’s count how many times I can say fairytale in one blog) … it has to have something sparkly in it.
But like I said.. every fairytale is different. This one is quite tame…
This PE teacher isn’t quite used to being dolled up. But track pants just don’t quite fit into a fairytale quite as well.
Fairytale accessories and necessity’s: TICK! Kellie is ready to WOW!
Along with her support crew.
Hanmer Springs is an amazing location for a fairytale. And even better in the Autumn time, at the Heritage Hotel.
This fairytale now officially consists of not just one… but TWO Hurring’s. Kellie and Luke Hurring.
Precious.
And magical. (See, every fairytale needs bubbles!)
Continue the fairytale with me as we enter the woods and find some magical light. Come right this way to PART 2.
