Laura & Jimmy {Married} Part 1
It’s the 17th of November. We wake up in Tekapo to rain bucketing down and gale force winds… it looked as though a monster was about to emerge from the blue lake. It looked incrediblyyy GRUMPY outside. But so what.. what’s a little bad weather to make life a little more interesting… we starting driving towards blue skies knowing that the storm was bound to follow us all the way to Timaru.
It’s Laura and Jimmy’s Wedding day and I arrive to sunshine and the many happy faces of Laura, her bridesmaids and her parents. I could see the storm coming and Oh MY GOSH did it look COOL! … There are blue skies.. and then there are DEEP blue skies. …
Jimmy’s sister Sara, both bridesmaid and make up artist made everyone look devine…
I wanted to take this chair home… I really really did! lol
And hello delicious looking shoes… I want you too!
Mela can’t stop staring at the shoes too!
The most beautiful veil in the world is applied and Laura is ready to go…
Just in time for the rain to begin…
Jimmy awaits his bride at St David’s Church in Cave.
And can’t wipe the smile off his face when he see’s his gorgeous bride.
Harlow makes a beautiful flower girl… and in fact she has featured on my blog before… a wee while ago when she gave me a good run for my money and bolted in every direction except at me. I think she likes me a bit better this time!! lol. And she lovessss her Aunty Laura.
The storm passed as fast as it came… the ridiculously heavy rain was kind in ceasing for our portraits as we head to an amazing homestead.
With sooo many cuuuuute baby geese…
So stay with me… we are marching on to the next section of this blog… Follow me to PART 2
