14 Years ago, on the school bus… there was only one seat available… and that seat for Sam, was right beside Louise. It wasn’t long before they discovered they lived in the same neighbourhood and their friendship and relationship grew! 2 and a half years ago they welcomed their gorgeous son Hunter into the world and it wasn’t long before January 23rd, their wedding day… was here! 14 years together and still they are creating some of the BEST days of their lives.
They chose the beautiful French Farm in Akaroa for everything and boy did Akaroa put on a STUNNER of a day! We had the MOST fun with Louise and Sam and their awesome bridal party, they were never shy of a laugh!
We were so happy to capture the next phase of their romance that has been going on for 14 years.. and is still… only just getting started! ….
Across the road at the French Farm accommodation, Louise and her girls are perfectly relaxed and tending to the final details of the day.
This wee guy is the handsome Hunter! It’s his Mum & Dad’s special day!
Thee time has come…
The awesome crew who supported Louise and Sam all day!
They’re a bunch of keepers!! Especially those two below!! ;-)
Onto Tikao Bay, we had a beautiful wee beach all to ourselves and some stunning location to play with. But first off, it was a must to kick off those heals and soak her feet in the sweet cooling water of the bay.
Doug played with the guys in this cool old warehouse.
Ceeeelebrate good times, COME ON! :)
I love this fun happy one!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
We always make sure to tell our clients to take in their day as much as possible. Soak in all they have designed, all they have planned and all the memories they are making NOW… because before one can click their fingers… It’s reception time!
When your Best Man has known you as long as Sam and Ricky have known each other…. watch out where the speeches are concerned! haha
Louise and Sam, it was our utmost pleasure capturing your truly special, fun and amazing day! You guys are cleaaaaarly meant for each other and we wish you all the very best for your next 14 years, and sooooo many more.
Congratulations to you both again,
Heather & Doug xoxo
