3 weekends away from home, 3 sets of drives from Christchurch to the Marlborough region, 3 beautiful weddings.
Our final drive lead us to Rose ad Kyle’s wedding day. I met these guys back in October when we did our engagement shoot. I liked them straight away. Laughter is good for the soul. Rose laughs a lot! And Kyle certainly makes her laugh. Always a good ingredient.
I was so excited for their big day. And now its here…
Rose gets ready at their house. And for the first time ever do I hear a bride exclaim she is ‘too skinny’ for her dress. Must of been all those press ups in the morning before the birds were even chirping eh! ;-)
As Rose slips into her dress…
Dad watches as she gets the final touches applied.
And Chloe sticks close to Rose. I think she was miffed she isn’t invited?!
…Before we know it we have a bride who is ready to go.
Out at a family members farm, Kyle, his groomsmen and 100 guests await the bride.
Jack, Kyle’s nephew stoked with himself for walking the aisle. (It’s a pretty big aisle).
The veils debuts. Which lasts all of…
Rose isn’t fussed though and off they go…
I think we have a stoked groom on our hands.
…After 8 years together, they can now call themselves husband and wife. Goodbye to any signs of nerves and welcome cheer happiness!!
Mum and her 2 sons.
Rose & Kyle rounded up a pretty down to earth crew to stick with all day long.
I told you Rose likes to laugh right?.. that or that left hand of Kyle’s may or may not have been slightly higher a few seconds prior. haha
Rose, look how beautiful you are! No wonder Kyle’s holding on tight!
Off to the farm to find the ‘other love’.
And then guns cross the brain. And Kyle’s off like lightening to nab them…
I feel like I’ve just walked into a Gangster movie. (This is the part where you find an appropriate Gangster movie, or movie in general that this would suit so I don’t look like a dummy for not knowing what I’m talking about). Either way …pure AWESOMENESS!
And the coolness perseveres.
Always caught with the bouquet in his hand. The cigar and the beer do butch it up a bit!
Wedding Days are big, it’s always good to have a lye down. Feels good doesn’t it?! Looks good too!
A few spins..
…a few spins too many?…
The The Winery Riverlands awaited their arrival.
Where the staff were COOL! (I did tell him this may be one for the album ;-)
Everyone engaged in conversation. Even little Jack.
And there is no time like the present to write your speech. Better late than never aye Kyle?!
The veil redeemed its 5 minutes of fame.
And then we said goodnight…
Rose & Kyle. What an amazing day you had. So happy, so relaxed and so down to earth. You amazed us. A huge Congratulations and I soooooo can’t wait to get stuck into the rest of the images. Big love xo
